Killington announces longer spring hours

On March 19, as the region was getting pummeled with another snowstorm that was expected to deliver over a foot of new snow, Killington Resort announced that it was going to open the Snowdon Quad and the North Ridge Triple an hour early Wednesday, March 20. Powder hungry locals and visitors alike were lined up for first tracks at 8 a.m.!
"Also, in our continued effort to regain The Beast of spring title, we've just finished another five days of snowmaking and the pile on Superstar is the highest it's been in recent memory," the release continued.
The celebration of spring continue with extended lift hours so skiers and riders can enjoy the soft snow and later sunsets on the slopes. For the next three Saturdays, March 30, April 6 and 13, lifts will spin from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Then, starting Monday, April 15, they will run 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. weekends.
