On Saturday, Jan. 19 at 8:02 p.m. members of the Vermont State
Police were called to assist with a motor vehicle crash involving a
pedestrian that occurred in the town of Pittsford, Vt. This crash
occurred at the intersection of Taylor Road and VT Route 7 in the
town of Pittsford.
Naomi Taylor, age 29 from West Rutland, Vt., was walking south
on Route 7 near the intersection of Taylor Road when a vehicle
traveling north struck her. The vehicle did not stop to
render assistance and fled the scene.
Taylor was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center where
she was treated for her injuries. Evidence on scene indicated that
the right side of the vehicle collided with Taylor.
Officers from Brandon Police Department, Pittsford Police
Department along with State Police processed the scene.
