On Jan. 10, at approximately 4:29 a.m. the Vermont State Police
responded to a single vehicle roll over with no injuries on US
Route 7 just south of Oxbow Road in Pittsford, Vt. Upon arrival
Troopers observed a Red 2003 Jeep Liberty on its roof in a ditch
off the west side of the roadway. The operator was Sara Putnam, age
52 from Brandon, Vt. The Jeep sustained damage to its roof, hood,
windshield, and both front quarter panels.
The Vermont State Police conducted an accident investigation and
found that Putnam was driving too fast for roadway conditions as
the road was covered in a thin layer of ice. Putnam was wearing her
seatbelt.
