Dear Editor,
I wish to take this opportunity to thank Amy Morrison and the
editor and staff of the Mountain Times for their participation in
bringing the Festival of Lights to the town of Killington. Also
Kudos to those who participated in the festival, and to the winner
"Snowed Inn." However it is extremely disappointing that several of
our long established watering holes and restaurants chose not to
participate. There's no sense in naming them; they stand out like a
sore thumb on Killington Road. This project was for their benefit,
to bring perhaps more business to their establishments, and to show
the visitors that we here in the town of Killington are glad to
have them visit our town and mountain.
This was the first year for this festival, maybe next
year other's will join in. After all "Rome wasn't built in a
day."
