Hop’n Moose Brewing Co. announces April opening

Brew pub will be the first to open in Rutland

RUTLAND - Dale Patterson, the new proprietor of what is to be Rutland's first brew pub, is now in the process of renovating the former Ladabouche Furniture space on Center Street, across from the Paramount Theatre downtown. Patterson has dubbed the pub Hop'n Moose Brewing Co. and hopes to have it open April 1. Patterson is in the final stages of securing the necessary permits but seems confident he can open April 1 and begin serving beer brewed on-site June 1.
This brewery will be the second in Rutland County, which for years was the only county in the state not to have a brewery. Foley Brothers Brewing, in Brandon was the first opening in June 2012.
Along with the beer, Hop'n Moose Brewing Co. will serve wood-fired brick oven pizza.
