On March 16, Okemo hosted the rock super-group Yukon Kornelius and
O.A.R. for the third annual FestEVOL concert series. More than
4,000 rock fans attended the star-studded show in Okemo's Ice House
at Jackson Gore. This event marked the band's first appearance in
the East in five years. Some of the special guests included:
Twisted Sister's Dee Snider, Skid Row's Sebastian Bach, Fuel's
Brett Scallions, Dispatch's Brad Corrigan, Godsmack's Sully Erna,
Ratt's Warren DeMartini, Al Schnier, of moe. and more.
Yukon Kornelius, founded by bassist Stefan Lessard of Dave
Matthews Band, includes Ed Robertson of Barenaked Ladies, Adam
Gardner of Guster and drummer Eric Fawcett of Spymob.
"I always think of a Yukon Kornelius show as 'Making Musical
Mystery,'" said Ed Robertson of Barenaked Ladies. "Even we don't
know what is going to happen!"

This winter, FestEVOL kicked off at Crested Butte Mountain
Resort on March 9, hit Okemo March 16 and is headed to Mount
Sunapee Resort, March 23.
