Student Art Show opens on Feb. 1 at Brandon Artists Guild,
featuring the works of many area students. An opening reception
will be held from 5-7 p.m. in the Gallery.
On Friday, Feb. 1, the Brandon Artists Guild will host an
opening reception for Student Art Show, a delightful presentation
of the works of talented young people. The reception will be held
from 5 - 7 p.m. in the Gallery, and is free and open to the public.
Refreshments will be available.
Annually the Gallery features the work of local students from
the following schools: Whiting Elementary, Sudbury County school,
and Leicester Central school, art teacher Cassandra Genras; Lothrop
Elementary, art teacher Justin Farrow; Otter Valley Middle
school, art teacher Jeannie Podolak; Otter Valley High School, art
teacher Jim Samler; Barstow Memorial school, art teacher Jill
Dutton; Neshobe Elementary, art teacher John Brodoski; and Proctor
Elementary, art teacher Nancy Pisano.
The show runs Feb. 1 - 28. The Brandon Artists Guild is open
daily, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and is located at 7 Center St., Brandon.
