Join Chandler for a hysterical evening of stand-up comedy by
Vermont's own Jason Lorber, Jan. 25.
Burlington stand-up comedian, actor and improv artist Jason
Lorber brings his socially astute comedy to Chandler's Live and
Upstairs series in the Esther Mesh Room on Friday Jan. 25 at 7:30
p.m. Ben Orbison opens the show. A cash bar will be available.
Jason Lorber has opened for Joan Rivers, headlined at the Green
Mountain Comedy Festival, appeared on television and in films, and
triumphed at the Vermont's Funniest Comic Contest. He advances to
the New England's Funniest Comic competition in February.
Lorber is known to Chandler audiences for his appearances in
several Chandler Pride staged readings, including "8" and "Boys in
the Band". He has also appeared in productions with Vermont Stage,
Lost Nation Theater, Middlebury Actors' Workshop, and the Waterbury
Festival. In addition to stand-up comedy, Jason teaches
improvisation to business and non-profit leaders, and produces "Moo
Jew Comedy", an annual show featuring Jewish comedians and Chinese
food during the holiday season.
First elected to the Vermont State Legislature in November 2004,
Jason Lorber was re-elected in 2006, 2008 and 2010. He did not seek
re-election in 2012. As a Vermont legislator, he was honored to be
part of creating Vermont's Marriage Equality law.
Tickets for this night of comedy are $12 and can be ordered by
