On Sunday, Jan. 13, the Vermont Wedding Association will host
the 27th annual Rutland Bridal Show at the Holiday Inn
Rutland/Killington. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and prizes will be
drawn at 1:30 p.m.
There will be a large and qualified group of area wedding
professionals showcasing appetizers, wedding cakes, photography,
Spirits Tastings, and, of course, lots of prizes including a
Wedding Photography Package from Raiche Photography ($650 value),

voted by brides, couples and wedding professionals. "The data we
collect tells us that over 95% of couples planning weddings look
for their information online. The recently revamped
vermontweddingassociation.com website in its 13th year, with its
vendor and couple centric qualities, continues to be a large and
comprehensive online information center for couples planning
weddings and events in Vermont.
The Vermont Wedding Association is pleased to continue to team
up with the Kerry Ellis and Jennifer St. Peter of the Marrow Donor
Program at the Rutland Regional Medical Center.
"The premise is, as couples begin their journey together toward
a new life, they are often happy to give someone else a chance at a
new life. We are pleased to share that four of our shows have found
a match," said Judy Risteff of the VWA. "Our thanks go out to all
of the very generous engaged couples who are so willing to reach
out and help someone in need."
Everyday approximately 6000 patients who need life-saving marrow
are searching for a donor match. We invite the community to stop by
and join the registry even if they are not able to attend the show.
