Killington shines bright this year with 25 Killington businesses participating in the Festival of Lights this holiday season.

Organized in partnership by Killington Town, The Mountain Times and Killington Chamber of Commerce, the Festival of Lights encourages business owners to show their holiday spirit with white exterior lights decorating their property. Some chose to outline their building, others lit up their sign and entrance, others focused on the trees and landscaping and some did it all!
Who do you think will win the top award for their holiday spirit décor? Tour the light displays yourself to see all of the classy, over-the-top, minimalist and whimsical styles!

"The access road looks great," said Erica Harrington, who recently toured the light displays Killington Road with her husband and 2-year-old. "I was very impressed, it looks like Christmas here because of all the lights."

On Tuesday, Dec. 11, four judges toured the displays along Killington Road and Route 4. The winner they chose will be announced at the Vermont Holiday Festival, Dec. 14-15.

In addition to bragging rights, the winner will receive front page coverage in The Mountain Times, a $1,000 advertising package, a plaque to display at their business and a Season Pass donated by Killington Resort.
