Rutland youth perform Miracle on 34th Street - The Musical
Friday & Saturday, Dec. 16 & 17 at 7 p.m. - RUTLAND - To
celebrate Rutland Youth Theatre's 10th season, a cast of 47 local
area actors and a handful of their parents will bring you this
amazing holiday classic. A white-bearded gentleman claiming to be
the real Santa Claus brings about a genuine Miracle on 34th Street,
spreading a wave of love throughout New York City, fostering
camaraderie between Macy's and Gimbels Department Stores, and
convincing a divorced, cynical single mother, her somber daughter
and the entire state of New York that Santa Claus is no myth.
Directed by Saski Hagen Groom, the production is a full Broadway
Show with live orchestra. Don't miss this Christmas production at
Rutland's Paramount Theatre on Friday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. and
Saturday, Dec. 17 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. General admission is $8 for
children and seniors, and $10 for adults. Get tickets early by
calling the Paramount Box Office at 802-775-0903 or visit
www.paramountvt.org.
