Man accused of drug trafficking, 362 bags of Heroin found

On March 1, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Vermont State Police executed a search warrant at a residence on Park Street in Rutland City. Five individuals were located inside the apartment. Among them was 32-year-old Eshone L. Williams from Worcester, Mass. Williams and another male fled out a back door, but were quickly apprehended by police and escorted back to the residence. Williams was found in possession of 19 grams of Crack Cocaine and 62 bags of heroin.

During the search of the residence, Police located an additional 71 grams of Crack Cocaine and an additional 300 bags of heroin in William's jacket. Police found a total of 94 grams of Crack Cocaine and a total of 362 bags of Heroin. Police also located $13,676.00 in cash.

Williams was transported to Vermont State Police Barracks in Rutland for processing and later transported to the Marble Valley Correctional Center. Williams is being held on $500,000 bail. State Police were assisted by the Rutland County Sheriff's Department and the Rutland City Police Department.
