Black ice causes single vehicle crash

On March 22 at 9:38 p.m. Troopers from the Royalton State Police Barracks responded to a single motor vehicle accident on Rt 107 in the town of Stockbridge (Windsor County). The vehicle was traveling west bound when it lost control on the roadway due to black ice on the road.

The driver was identified as Keith Brick, age 19 from Decherd, TN. The front passenger Joshua Dimick, age 28 from Poultney, Vt., had a bloody nose and declined medical attention. Zachary Brick, age 16 from Barre, Vt. was also in the car and was uninjured. All were wearing seat belts. The vehicle was removed due to the damage it sustained. Agency Of Transportation responded to the area and treated the roadway.
