Letter to the Editor: Blind Athletes Ski Festival was a success, thanks to supporters

Dear Editor,

On behalf of Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports, I would like to thank the Killington Pico Rotary Club and all of its members who volunteered and provided a spectacular lunch for our athletes during the United States Association of Blind Athletes 6th Annual Ski Festival this past weekend. The food was outstanding and plentiful and your organization and enthusiasm made Saturday's lunch a hearty break for our hungry skiers. With the support of community organizations like the Rotary, Vermont Adaptive is able to provide incredible sports experiences for people with disabilities, so that they can enjoy and recreate in these mountains that we call home.
