Neptune’s coming turnaround

By Cal Garrison, a.k.a. Mother of the Skye

This week’s Horoscopes are coming out under the light of a Sagittarius Moon, on the eve of the Sun’s entrance into the same sign. When the Sun and the Moon come together in the same degree of the same sign, it means that the Moon is “New.” This happens once a month and it heralds a two week time period where “new beginnings” are the order of the day. The fact that the sun just shifted from Scorpio to Jupiter ruled, Sagittarius lands the prospect of optimism and expansion to an already uplifting mix.

This couldn’t come at a better time. With nothing but good stuff on the horizon, the journey from Thanksgiving to the Solstice promises to be full of hope. The fact that Neptune will go direct on Nov. 22 is another piece of good news. In retrograde motion since June 16, there are bound to be many surprising changes that come about as a result of this shift.

Neptune is what astrologers refer to as the Higher Octave of Venus. It is primarily a spiritual planet whose vibrations find it hard to function here in the Third Dimension. The words that follow come from a book that I wrote back in 2010. They cover the Neptune subject well enough to give us a sense of what’s been happening since Neptune turned retrograde, and the possibilities that might be birthed now that he’s going direct. Keep in mind that in retrograde motion the planet’s down side gets emphasized – the minute he goes direct, the high side of Neptune is able to express itself in ways that bring out the spiritual qualities for which he is so famous.

Neptune’s upcoming turnaround will inevitably introduce us to things that allow us to get our heads on straight. If you read between the lines you will see bits and pieces of “stuff” that has fogged up the matrix and our perceptions to the point where the truth is nowhere to be seen. With any luck, we will begin to see the spiritual side of things with a clearer vision, one that is free of illusions and ready to get on with the business of finding our way out of the mire to a higher ground and to a higher kind of love. As I wrap this up, all I can say is, “Let’s hope so” – we will have more than enough to be thankful for if that wish comes true. Bright blessings for a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you enjoy this week’s ‘scopes.
