Mr. Twitter’s gardener gives program in Fair Haven

Thursday, April 14 at 7 p.m. — FAIR HAVEN — The Friends of the Fair Haven Free Library will hold a spring gardening program with Kathy Gentry of Mr. Twitter’s Garden & Gift Emporium on Thursday, April 14 starting at 7 p.m. She will discuss choosing bulbs, seeds and plants and getting them ready to plant for the summer growing season. She will also show how to winter plants, what to use on plants and how to prune them for better yield and growth.

Gentry’s love for gardening started at the age of 16. She believes that gardening gets us all back to basics in this fast moving world. The rewards are almost immediate—it’s good for body and soul and leaves this world a better place.

The program is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will follow. The library is located at 107 North Main St., Fair Haven.
