Minimally invasive surgery: is it right for you?

Monday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. — RUTLAND — Healthcare has changed tremendously over recent years, particularly in the area of surgery. Advances in healthcare continue to give patients more options when it comes to surgery including many minimally invasive procedures.

Join a panel of surgeons from Rutland Regional Medical Center’s surgical team as they discuss how many procedures that once required large incisions can now be completed with just a few incisions, providing patients with numerous advantages including less pain, smaller scars and a quicker road to recovery.

The free presentation will be held on Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Rutland.

Presenters Matthew A. Conway, M.D., FACS, James F. Cromie, M.D., FACS, Brad L. Jimmo, M.D., FACS and John C. Louras, M.D., FACS from Rutland General Surgery will discuss what procedures are available and how you and your physician can make the best decision for you.
