Live at the Fillmore performs final concert of 2014 Cooler in the Mountains series

Saturday, Aug. 30 at 3:30 p.m. — KILLINGTON — Live at the Fillmore will appear in concert at the Killington Resort on Saturday, Aug. 30 from 3:30 – 6 p.m. The free show at Killington Resort’s K-1 Base Area is the final concert in the Town of Killington’s Cooler in the Mountains summer concert series, presented by Long Trail Brewing.

Musically and sonically, Live at the Fillmore creates the experience of hearing one of the greatest live bands of all times, the Allman Brothers. The band offers an exact reproduction of the live performances featuring Duane Allman, Dickey Betts, and Berry Oakley as they sounded from 1969 to 1971, particularly at their monumental shows at Bill Graham’s Fillmore East Auditorium in New York City.

The performance is free and open to all ages, and guests are encouraged to bring lawn blankets and chairs to enjoy the scenic views. The events also feature specialty Long Trail beer tastings, lawn games and outdoor fun. Plus all in attendance will have the chance to win a 2014-2015 Killington Season Pass, which will be given away at the conclusion of this final concert.

The Cooler in the Mountains summer concert series is produced by the Town of Killington, presented by Long Trail Brewing, and hosted at Killington Resort.
