Killington Rec offers summer camps for kids

Johnson Pool is a favorite way to cool off for kids in at Rec & Trek Adventure Camp.

KILLINGTON — The Killington Recreation Department is again offering summer camps for kids of all ages. This year’s camps are taking place from June 20 until Aug. 26, and include:

Camp Loads of Fun for ages 4 to 8, includes crafts, activities, swimming and games. Weekly themes will determined the activities for the week

Rec & Trek Adventure Camp for ages 9 to 14, includes travel three times per week for unique experiences in Vermont, hiking, mountain biking, tubing and many more adventures.

Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Before and after care is available from 8 to 8:30 a.m. and 4 to 5 p.m. daily, for an additional fee. Fees for camps are as follows:

Daily drop-in rates for  Camp Loads of Fun are $39 for Killington residents, employees, Killington Elementary students, and KPAA members and employees; $55 for non-residents; weekly rates are $99/$155; summer special rates (for all 10 weeks) are $799/$1,299.

Daily drop-in rates for Rec & Trek Adventure Camp are $69 for Killington residents, employees, Killington Elementary students, and KPAA members and employees; $79 for non-residents; weekly rates are $179/$225; summer special rates (for all 10 weeks) are $1,499/$1,899.
