Interfaith Holocaust Remembrance concert to be held at Rutland Jewish Center

Wednesday, May 4 at 7 p.m. — RUTLAND — The Rutland Jewish Center is proud to present a concert of vocal music composed by inmates of Nazi concentration camps, sung by Dr. Rachel Josephson, accompanied by Dr. Rene Lecuona on piano, on May 4 at 7 p.m. at the center.

Rachel Joselson, professor of voice at University of Iowa, has performed with symphonies and opera companies worldwide. Rene Lecuona, professor of piano at University of Iowa, has been praised by critics in Germany, the U.K. and the U.S. for her chamber music interpretations and solo performances.

The musical presentation will be preceded by brief remembrances and memorial prayers led by Rabbi Doug Weber and members of the Rutland Area Interfaith Clergy Association.
