“An Inconvenient Truth” screens at Paramount

Thursday, Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. —RUTLAND—This Thursday the Paramount Theatre in downtown Rutland will offer a free screening of the award-winning movie “An Inconvenient Truth” on the occasion of its 10th anniversary. Come see or re-see the film that’s changed so many lives! Director Davis Guggenheim eloquently weaves the science of global warming with former U.S Vice President Al Gore’s personal history and lifelong commitment to reversing the effects of global climate change in the Academy Award-winning documentary.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the movie begins at 7 p.m. Free admission with complimentary beer, wine and refreshments, and raffle drawing. No ticket/RSVP required for this free screening.
