Grace Church craft fair benefits missions

Nov. 20-21 — RUTLAND — This year, Grace Congregational United Church of Christ will hold its seventh annual holiday craft fair. This annual event is to provide additional funds to benefit missions both near and far. In the previous six years, the craft fair has raised a total of $32,500. Some of the missions that have benefited from these funds include: the Community Cupboard in Rutland, Dismas House, and HEAL Raising Our World One Child at a Time, which is a non profit organization that supports Rapha Community Center in the central highlands of Kenya.

The craft fair consists of many vendors with a variety of crafts and wares, Christmas wreaths, baked goods, jams/jellies, equal exchange items, and a pink pachyderm (slightly used items). There is also a café that will serve dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday.

The craft fair will run on Friday, Nov. 20 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 21 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Grace Church is located at 8 Court Street, Rutland.
