Free community dinners offered weekly in Woodstock

Thursday,  Dec. 18 at 5 p.m. — WOODSTOCK — Hand In Hand community dinners are held every Thursday from 5 – 7 p.m. in the Social Hall (basement) of the U.U. Church at 7 Church St. in Woodstock. You may enter through the back door, which is down the driveway, or through the upstairs doors facing the street.

Meals consist of five courses, with a different theme each week. There is always a vegetarian option, and those with special dietary needs or restrictions can be accommodated with notice. Musicians, poets and other speakers are encouraged to add to the programs, relating to weekly themes.

Dec. 18 is a Hanukkah theme; Dec. 25 is a Christmas theme, and please note that dinner will be from 3 – 5 p.m. this week; Jan. 1 is a Happy New Year theme.

Please join in the free dinners, share a meal and get to know your community, where all are welcome. Donations are greatly appreciated.

Reservations are never required, however, if you know ahead that you will be joining the Christmas dinner, please contact Lauren Wilder with a head count and individual names, to assist with special planning, at 802-299-1777.
