Fly Dogs jumping event moves to Lake Bomoseen

Sunday, June 26 at 12 p.m. — BOMOSEEN — The Fly Dogs has moved from Killington, to the Palms at Prospect Bay on Lake Bomoseen! On Sunday, June 26 the group will hold the first of three dog jumping events this summer, beginning at noon and jumping in the finals around 2 p.m. or until all the dogs and handlers are all “pooped” out.

The other dates include July 17, Aug. 14, plus a fundraiser for the Rutland County Humane Society in September. All events start at noon, followed by finals. The cost is $20 to compete for both events.

Ribbons will be given to the winners of the finals in all four divisions. All dogs jump in one of the four divisions, so that big and little jumpers have a chance to win. Everyone is welcome to come and compete.
Food and beverage is served all day, with dog-friendly seating outdoors. Come by boat or bring a lawn chair.
