Woodchuck Festival returns to West Pawlet

Saturday, Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. — WEST PAWLET — The 12th annual Woodchuck Festival in West Pawlet will be held Saturday, Feb. 7 from 10 a.m. to 30 p.m. A fundraiser event sponsored jointly by the West Pawlet Ladies Auxiliary and the West Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department, this annual event is held at Mettawee Community School, 5788 Vermont Route 153. The annual event is a family day for all ages, and all are welcome.

Beth (Kashner) Moser-Duquette, vice president of the Ladies Auxiliary said that there will be the silent auction, craft vendor market with many hand crafted and home made items, home baked goods and great food at the firemen’s Woodchuck Café. Please note: Mettawee Community School is a nut-free environment.

Beth said that the games organized by the West Pawlet Fire Department include the Woodchuck Rescue Challenge, the awesome fire drill games and obstacles, cow plop bingo, and the tug-of-war where West Pawlet takes on the world.
