Discarding illusions for the holidays

By Cal Garrison, a.k.a. Mother of the Skye

This week’s Horoscopes are coming out under the light of a Void-of-Course Pisces Moon. The Moon left its Void-of-Course pattern and entered the sign of the Ram at about 7:30 p.m. EST on Christmas Day. As the holiday revels play out, there are a number of subtle aspects to consider. On Jan. 31st, a major eclipse will bring whatever’s coming to a head to the fore, so let’s take a look at a couple of issues that are about to arise out of our current state of affairs.

The big shots will be called to task and held accountable for their past and current actions. A similar picture between Neptune and Kron tells us that the dishonesty of our leaders, and our disappointment in them is already rising to the surface.

Hades and the Trans-Neptunian Point, Apollon will be adding their weight to this process. What I see is the picture of multitudes of mistakes coming out of the woodwork in ways that give new meaning to the expression “What goes around comes around.” Wait and see: ancient history will bring us face-to-face with stuff that goes way beyond being hard to believe, and which shocks many of us to the core.

With Christmas and its joys beckoning me to rejoice, in my heart of hearts I see all of this intensity, and disillusionment as a beautiful sight. Why? Because the road to enlightenment is paved with disillusionment. On the cusp of a major wake-up call, it comes down to discarding our illusions and allowing the truth to set us free. With that thought in mind, I wish you all a Merry Christmas, and invite you to take what you can from this week’s ‘scopes.
