Cult classic “Rocky Horror Show” being presented in Rutland

Oct. 29-31, Nov. 5-7 — RUTLAND — The Merchants Hall STAGE series presents “The Rocky Horror Show Live!” The cult-classic science fiction, dark comedy musical will be directed and conducted by Jacob W. Patorti with live orchestrations at Merchants Hall for 10 performances: Oct. 29, 30, 31, Nov. 5 and 6 at 8 p.m.; and Oct. 30, 31, Nov. 6 and 7 at 11:59 p.m.

The story goes: Innocent Brad and Janet find themselves seeking shelter at a mysterious old castle on a dark and stormy night, where they encounter transvestite Dr. Frank N. Furter, his “perfect” creation Rocky, and an assortment of other crazy creatures. Merchants Hall is thrilled to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of this B horror/science-fi musical. Join them as they bring this timeless sexual-beast of a piece to life for the 6th time in Rutland.
