Saturday, Aug. 15 at 12 p.m. — WELLS — Have you been to a chicken barbecue yet this summer? There’s still time! Join the great chicken barbecue at the Modern Woodman Hall lot on Main Street in Wells, Vt., taking place on Saturday, Aug. 15 from 12 to 3 p.m. The menu includes: barbecued large half of chicken, golden corn on the cob, cole slaw, potato salad, and macaroni salad with peas and tuna, and rolls. Coffee and lemonade will be available to drink, and a brownie for dessert. Adults $10; youth 12 and under $5 each; age four and under free.
