Calling all skellies!

Saturday, Sept. 26 at 9 a.m. — RUTLAND — Drum Journeys of Earth will hold a Halloween Parade planning meeting on Saturday, Sept. 26, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Rhythm Hall, 2nd Floor, Bldg. 5, Howe Center, 1 Scale Ave, Rutland. Drum Journeys of Earth and its students are widely known for leading the Rutland Halloween Parade as the Drumming Skeletons.

To join, no prior experience is necessary. If you can walk, you can be part of this parade! For those with special skills, there is specifically a need for carpenters, lighting pros, seamstresses, artists and more. For the special “floor show” this year, we need jugglers, magicians, rollerbladers/skaters, stilt walkers, fire breathers, unicyclists, puppeteers and more. If you have a special talent, join the planning meeting.

For more info, contact Gary Meitrott at 802-282-2581 or GaryMeitrott@vermontel.net.

Drum Journeys of Earth is dedicated to creating community through drumming. The recognition gained from this Halloween parade helps DJE provide classes and performances to bring music and the arts to citizens of Rutland County.
