BRGNS to hold annual spring rummage sale

Shoppers sort through piles of bargains at a fall rummage sale.

May 15-17 — LUDLOW — Black River Good Neighbor Services will hold its annual Spring Rummage Sale at Fletcher Farms, 611 Route 103 South in Ludlow on Friday and Saturday, May 15 and 16 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday, May 17 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The sale will feature clothing, housewares, books, linens, furniture and all manner of goods. 

“We’ve been stockpiling good quality items for several months and will have something for  everyone,” said Audrey Bridge, executive director of the organization. “We will have the tables  piled high and the prices marked low.”

There is also a bake sale with all manner of edibles. Black River Good Neighbor Services holds a rummage sale twice each year, in the spring and in the fall, and sells gently used items that are donated by the community. Proceeds from the sale are used to purchase food for the food shelf or used for financial assistance programs in the community.
