  • Hi Brady-I am 78 yrs. old and weigh more than I should. When I was younger, could abstain from carbs, lose weight, feel great and did not feell deprived or hungry.Later in life when I would want to take off some weight and returned to a high protein fat diet,I felt dangerously ill and could not sustain the program long enough to lose any weight at all.As soon as I reintroduced carbs to my diet,I quickly felt better.Have you ever heard or experiencd this type of reaction.I enjoy your column every week and admire your tenacity in the face of physical trials. The humor and light heartedness of your writing has put you high on my list of trusted friends.Hope you can find the time to reply……..all the best,Tim
