Despite the pouring rain on Saturday, community members, representatives of the city and Downtown Rutland Partnership gathered at the corner of Baxter Street and Library Avenue to celebrate the ground-breaking of Northwest Rutland’s first community park. The park will consist of a playground and pavilion where community members can gather and enjoy the outdoors.
